The (not that basic) little black dress - Zilla's essentials part 3

I love black dresses! Who doesn't? They can save you from those days you have nooooooothing to wear (I can totally relate), and make you always look polished and correct!

Buuut, I mean I'm here to be Zilla right?! So I don't deal with basic. My number 3 in the "Zilla's essentials list" is a little black dress, but not an average one (just like me...hahahahahaha)!!! I pick clothes to make me happy, and fringes always make me happy...hahahahaha! But the concept here is exactly the same: you can dress down or up your outfit by only changing accessories and small details!!

In this case I worked with layers for the night look! I love mixing a conservative and classic piece as a white shirt with a totally rock-and-roll-not-conservative-at-all black dress! When you put them together, the result is unpredictable and very interesting!

To transition to a day look I simply added a fun bag, a summer hat and a modern flat sandal to bring some casualness to the look!

You can totally play with the little black dress you already have in your closet. Just think outside the box and make it look "not average"!!! Good luck guys and let me know if any of these outfits inspired you to use what you already have in a different way!!!
